Introduction
Producer Hub: Hotspot for International Co-Production Networking!
Producer Hub is a new program launching in 2024 aimed at facilitating information exchange and networking among producers pursuing international co-productions and financing. This event will serve as a crucial venue for producers from various countries to share insights on changes in film production environments, market trends across different nations.
Each year, Producer Hub will select a ‘Focus Country’ to center its activities around, showcasing co-production projects, producers, and industry trends from that country. This initiative aims to foster active exchanges among participants by recommending leading co-production producers from the Focus Country, thereby strengthening the foundation for international collaboration.
This year in 2024, Producer Hub has selected South Korea as the Focus Country. Producer Hub program will take place from Oct 5 (Sat) to 7 (Mon) and will feature a range of activities including panel talks, case studies, seminars, and networking events. In particular, the Producer Hub will be conducted with the KO-PICK Showcase Program of the Korean Film Council (KOFIC) aiming to promote the international expansion of Korean film. Producer Hub is expected to play a significant role in enhancing international co-production networks and fostering the growth of the Asian film industry.
