Moderator
HWANG Saehui (AI Curator of ACFM, Stanford University)

Saehui is the AI Curator of ACFM, working to bring forth conversations between AI technologists and Filmmakers. She is fueled by her mission to ensure technology accessibility and literacy in various disciplines. Previously, Saehui studied acoustic engineering at the University of Copenhagen and electrical engineering at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). Currently, she is a PhD student at Stanford University, studying human-computer interaction techniques that make quality content accessible to people who are blind and visually impaired. Her experience also includes creative endeavors, like producing conservation documentaries in South America.

Jerry CHI (Head of Japan, Stability AI)

Jerry is a Taiwanese American fluent in Korean, Japanese, and Chinese, based in Tokyo. He established the Japan office at Stability AI, where his team developed various Generative AI models and products including image, video, and language models. Previously, he held a wide array of analytics and machine learning roles at Google, Supercell, SmartNews, and Indeed, often doing work related to media and digital content. Also, he is an ex-entrepreneur with experience advising startups. He is especially passionate about creative applications of AI. Jerry holds degrees from Stanford's Engineering School and the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.
