Lorna Tee is a film producer & curator, dividing her time between Asia & Europe. She has over 20 years of experience in the media and entertainment industry with key positions in Focus Films HK, Variety, Irresistible Films HK, Berlinale, CinemAsia FIlm Festival Amsterdam and International Film Festival & Awards Macao plus has served as jury and advisors at major international film festivals globally. She is producing with her Malaysian company Paperheart, and with Amsterdam-based company, An Original Picture, focusing on films made for an international audience with filmmakers from across Asia. She is the founder/ curator of mylab, (an asian development & training programme), the international acquisitions advisor for Barunson E&A(South Korea) and the secretary-general of the Asian Film Alliance Network (AFAN).
John Chong is a veteran filmmaker. After graduating from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1980, Chong joined TVB as a researcher. Three years later, he became a copywriter for a film advertising agency. During this time, he also worked as a freelance screenwriter and song lyrics writer. In 1994, Chong co-founded the Media Asia Group. He served as the CEO and head of production for the group during its peak years.
Over the course of three decades, Chong has produced over a hundred films, including Beast Cops, Infernal Affairs, A World Without Thieves, Exiled , Love in a Puff, Cloud Atlas and Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In.
Jeffrey Chan had served as the Chief Operation Officer and subsequently Executive Vice President of Bona Film Group since 2008, and continually as a board member of the now mainland-listed company until May 2024. He has executive-produced and produced close to 100 Chinese-language films in the last two decades.
He had also championed Bona’s investment in and co-production of Hollywood films such as THE MARTIAN (2015), X-MEN: APOCALYPSE (2016), BILLY LYNN’S LONG HALFTIME WALK (2016), ALIEN: CONVENANT (2017), WAR OF THE PLANET OF THE APES (2017), THE GREATEST SHOWMAN (2017), ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD (2019), AD ASTRA (2019), A DOG’S WAY HOME (2019) & MIDWAY (2019).
Jeffrey was responsible for setting up the Oscar-winning Hollywood remake, THE DEPARTED (2006), from the HK contemporary classic, INFERNAL AFFAIRS (2002), when he worked as the General Manager of Media Asia Distribution.
He established Distribution Workshop with veteran filmmaker, Nansun Shi, in 2006 which has expanded into Just Creative Studio which actively participates in film investment, production and distribution in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Andy Yoon, as the representative of the content production group Moonwatcher, planned, produced, and invested in various fields such as movies, TV, animations, webtoons, and musicals. In particular, he was interested in global co-production, so he directly produced his signature film Blind in China, Japan, and Vietnam, and is currently producing an feature film animation Flying Superboard after completing the series of Naver Webtoon It Was All You.
Soo hyun Ahn began her career in film in 1994 by handling the marketing and promotion for Korea’s first fantasy sci-fi film, The Fox with Nine Tails, at ShinCine. She later worked at Sidus and was the production manager for director Jinho Heo’s One Fine Spring Day. From 2003 to 2006, at Bom Film Productions, she produced The Uninvited and You Are My Sunshine! while also gaining experience in international co-production with Hong Kong and Japan through Three, Monster. In 2007, she produced Voice of a Murderer, a film based on an unsolved kidnapping case, which shocked audiences and acted as a catalyst for public demand to extend the statute of limitations for murder cases from 15 to 25 years. In 2009, she produced Thirst by director Chan-wook Park, which won the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2010, she co-founded Caper Film with director Dong-hoon Choi. With an incredible casting and production values, The Thieves and Assassination, which were filmed in Hong Kong, Macau, and Shanghai, attracted over 25 million audiences. In 2022, she took on the challenge of creating new styles and genres with the fantasy sci-fi action blockbusters Alienoid Part 1 and Alienoid Part 2 in 2024. Ms Ahn continues to actively work as one of Korea's leading producers, creating films that balance both artistic quality and box office success.
As the producer and founder of Bom Film Productions, Jungwan OH has focused on producing accomplished feature films with a unique style that challenges the conventional ideas of cinema. As one of the most prolific and respected producers in the South Korean film industry, she is also internationally established being a pioneer in cross border filmmaking by partnering with filmmakers in Hong Kong, Japan and Thailand. She has been on the board and jury member of many prestigious international film festivals and organizations.
