ACFM 2024 Extends Sincerest Gratitude!
Thank you all for visiting Asian Contents & Film Market 2024!

We enjoyed an exceptionally vibrant market this year, featuring 26 conferences under very timely themes, 19 pitches and showcases, and 5 networking events that attracted participants from across the market and the film festival. The exhibitors hosted by 275 companies from 30 countries well demonstrated a dynamic content market, as it drew 563 buyers from 383 companies. We’re deeply thankful for our partner organizations from around the world for their wonderful support. Directors and producers, both new and experienced, came together to network and share valuable information on projects and the film industries in their own countries.

ACFM 2024 came as a much-needed rain for the Asian film and content industry, since our industry has been parched more than ever, seeking for new opportunities. ACFM will continue to listen to the feedback from our valued participants and welcome the contribution and support from every member of the Asian film and content industry and its ecosystem.

Asian Project Market Announced Award Winners!
The 2024 Asian Project Market (APM) has announced 11 award recipients, marking the end of its four-day journey.

The 2024 APM selection included 30 projects from 17 regions. During the four days in which the market took place, a total of 706 business meetings took place, proving the keen interest of industry professionals from around the world in the selected projects. This year, two new award categories were added: the Red Sea Film Fund Award, which offers a development fund of USD 10,000 to a single selected project, and the Songwon Award sponsored by Songwon Foundation, which commits KRW 10,000,000 to a single selected project. In total, 11 projects received awards in 12 sections.

The 11 APM award recipients prove the capabilities of up-and-coming directors and producers whose works have been recognized previously. In particular, several CHANEL X BIFF Asian Film Academy alumni have successfully demonstrated progress, showing the fruit of the academy as it continues to aid the journeys of burgeoning filmmakers. The balance between genre experimentation and popular appeal was notable in Korean independent film projects. In overseas projects, collaboration between established producers and up-and-coming directors led to a high level of filmmaking, combining expertise with young passion. Presenting new possibilities of collaborative filmmaking through crossing various borders, the APM 2024 has ended in a great success. It looks forward to the tomorrow of the award-winning filmmakers this year.
