Asia’s leading content business platform once again leaps forward. Asian Contents & Film Market 2024 is open for business! |
|
Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM), the Asia’s premier business platform that facilitates the development, production, investment, and rights deals for films, audiovisual content, and original IPs like webtoons and stories, has officially opened today!
ACFM will offer an extensive lineup of films, along with ample networking opportunities for sales companies. It will host national pavilions for European Film Promotion (EFP), a long-time participant at ACFM, as well as Italy, the UK, and various Asian territories, including Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Taiwan, Japan, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Mongolia, and many more. Additionally, Microsoft will demonstrate Copilot and other programs at its exhibition booth, showcasing the potential convergence of technology and content.
Aside from the Sales Booths run by Korean and International participants, ACFM offers access to multiple Conferences that explore the future of Asian content, BSM - a marketplace for licensing original IPs for video production - and APM, Asia’s first-ever investment and co-production market.
At the newly launched Producer Hub, nine sessions will be presented by 123 producers from 19 countries. Producer Hub will also facilitate speed meetings and networking luncheons, allowing participating producers to explore the co-production landscape, including support programs in Korea, Spain, Hong Kong, and many other regions.
In addition, ACFM invites participants to Pitchings, Seminars, and Conferences on AI and OTT, and offers quality programs providing opportunities to explore global film industry trends and gain invaluable insights.

Asian Project Market & Busan Story Market: Opening Today! |
|
Today marks the opening of Asian Project Market (APM), the first and largest Asian platform for investment and co-production, and Busan Story Market (BSM), a marketplace for audiovisual adaptation rights through which original IPs such as literary books, webtoons, web novels, and story treatments can be produced in a visual-based storytelling medium.
In the last 26 years, APM has officially selected a total of 691 projects. Of those, the 304 completed projects have been invited and screened at some of the most world-renowned film festivals every year. With such a history of accomplishments, APM has announced 30 official selections from 17 different countries this year. Their genres include crime, thriller, suspense, horror, queer, and animation, spanning a wider spectrum than those from the previous years.
Furthermore, BSM will be featuring 29 Korean IPs and 18 International IPs from Taiwan, Japan, and France that boast artistic and commercial merits and versatile adaptability into various formats. Adding to the mix is Jeju Contents Agency, continuing their participation from last year and introducing original IPs that are set in Jeju and founded upon its rich cultural resources. Gyeonggi Content Agency will also participate by supporting individual booths to companies that are based in Gyeonggi-do and have audiovisual and narrative-based content IPs. Such efforts are projected to give the original IP trading market a big boost.
Walk-in registration for business meetings with the representatives of APM projects and BSM official selections are also available during the market period. More details can be found at Asian Project Market and Busan Story Market.
